<p>I can safely say it&#8217;s the largest brownie I&#8217;ve had out of the Avon, second only to a monster from the Heale Estate last year. It took an <a href="http://www.sexyloops.com/flytying/elkhaircaddis.shtml" target="_blank">elk hair caddis</a>, a great all-round dry that works a treat on the Avon. Even better when tied with a bit of <a href="http://www.danica.com/flytier/hweilenmann/cdcelk.htm">CDC </a>I find&#8230;</p>
<p><a href="http://www.flyfishingengland.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Avon1.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-63" title="Avonbrownie" src="http://www.flyfishingengland.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Avon1-300x225.jpg" alt="River Avon Brown Trout" width="300" height="225" /></a></p>
